Bonita, from Bournemouth, has been named the winner of The 6th English Wedding Awards 2023 in the South West Cake Designer of the Year category.

The Wedding Industry Awards

TWIA is the only regional and national awards that is client based using reviews and testimonials in judging to recognise excellence in the wedding industry.

I was awarded South West Highly Commended Wedding Cake Designer.

International Virtual Competition Wedding

I am delighted to have been awarded Bronze in the Cake International Virtual Competition Wedding category of 2 tiers or more.

This was the second Cake International virtual competition where my 6 images of my 3 tier Wedding Cake design was judged by a team of esteemed judges.

A quote from Head Judge David Close had said that the judges were overwhelmed by the number and impossibly high standard of entries.

Well done to everyone who took part in the world’s most exciting sugarcraft and cake decorating competition.

The Cake Professional Awards (National)

I am thrilled to announce I won The National Title for my large wedding cake at The Cake Professionals Awards 2020.

I entered the awards because I thought it would be the best confidence boost not only for myself but for my newly hatched wedding cake business too. Little did I even think I’d win the National Award!
